Coffee in a cone is one of those weird and wonderful coffee trends that has taken the social media world by storm. It is what its name states, a coffee which is made and served in a waffle cone, truly a zero waste initiative.
The cone itself is lined with layers of dark chocolate to make it leak proof, effectively its like a coffee and a cookie, a match made in heaven. We have created our own version and think it is pretty amazing, you’re just going to have to try it for yourself.
- Waffle cone
- 1 x 250g block of good quality dark chocolate (or any chocolate you prefer)
- 1 espresso shot (we used the BeanGiving Espresso Blend).
- Foamed milk to your liking
Break chocolate into smaller pieces and melt it over the stove. Place melted chocolate into a pouring jug. Line the inside of a waffle cone with melted chocolate ensuring that there are no gaps. Place cone into the fridge to harden.
Brew your espresso shot and pour it into the prepared cone. Froth your milk and pour it into the cone as you would a normal coffee and then take photos for the gram and enjoy!
