We love the idea of being able to include coffee into our diets even more than we though possible (its fine it takes at least 100 cups of coffee to kill you). Todays recipe is perfect for those mornings when you just don’t seem to have enough time, easily make ahead and freeze portions of the smoothie mix which can be blended in an instant!
- 1 whole banana
- ½ a cup of oats
- Pinch of cinnamon
- ¼ cup of yoghurt
- Tablespoon of honey
- 1 shot of espresso (we use Muffin Break Signature Blend)
- ½ cup of milk of choice
- Optional teaspoon of nut butter
Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth. If needed add more milk to achieve the consistency desired.
*Can freeze banana and to be used when needed. Store for up to 3 months*
*Use an ice tray to freeze espresso shots to be used later in smoothies*
